Pacific Traverse Energy LTD (PTe), an energy focused infrastructure company is proposing to build and operate a new propane gas export terminal in Northwestern BC.
In February 2018, PTe filed an application to the National Energy Board for the permission to export propane gas from a new facility proposed to be constructed in Kitimat BC.
Pacific Traverse Energy is working closely with the Haisla Nation Council to review of the proposed project situated in their traditional territory. We are also engaging with all levels of government, the community of Kitimat and local businesses to introduce the project and seek input that will help shape our decision-making going forward.
We are focused on developing a project that benefits Indigenous communities, considers local environmental values, drives positive economic impacts and contributes to the communities in which we live and work.
