Pacific Traverse Energy is pleased to announce the National Energy Board has approved our Application for an Export Permit and received an Export Permit for our Kitimat Propane Export Project to export propane. The Permit provides us with a 25-year licence for up to 2.7 million cubic meters of propane per year from our proposed marine terminal in Kitimat, B.C.
Receiving the Licence to Export is an important step for the project; it confirms that Canada has sufficient propane to meet domestic demand and it allows us to export surplus to Asian customers.
We are focused on developing a project that benefits Indigenous communities, considers local environmental values, drives positive economic impacts, and contributes to the communities in which we live and work. Visit Our Commitments for more information on our approach.
